I got the police car set built today, and man is it small! (small enough to hold with one hand) I have no clue how I'm going to be able to get it to take up the entire shot with the Quickcam, but it's pretty close up, so it will probably work. I'll get to filming those scenes with the police car tomorrow and record the lines for it since I'm playing the part of the policeman.
I'm not quite sure how I'm going to get the outside passing by to look realistic without actually moving the car and the camera along with it, which would be very impractical. Maybe just flashing red and blue lights alternately will make it real enough without anything else going past outside except street lights. Either way, I've got to make it look like it's dark enough outside that you can't see anything so I can avoid having to "scroll" various buildings past the window.
I also continued adding on to my schedule through the end of July, and looks like I should be a little over halfway done with filming by then. I'm estimating I won't get done with all of the filming by the end of the summer, but it will be pretty close. Three scenes at the most will be left out of the 20 or so overall. That's good.
