I did a zolly experiment today, and it turned out fairly well:
Zolly Test
In case you don't already know, a zolly shot, also known as a Vertigo shot (from Hitchcock's film Vertigo), is a shot where the camera moves backwards while zooming forwards at the same time, achieving an interesting effect where the background changes perspective but the subject stays relatively the same. Since I can't get a good zoom with the Quickcam alone, I did the dolly and then added the zoom in using After Effects. The result is shown above. The only big problem is the degradation of quality as the camera gets farther away from the subject. Nevertheless, watch the clip and see what you think.

That's an interesting shot, maybe you could try it in the light first, because the quality seemed pretty bad
