Year 2, Day 4: Filming continues

Filming continues as usual. I wasn't able to film last night or the night before because last night I had to go to a ballet recital, and the night before that we watched Raiders of the Lost Ark, so I couldn't film then either. So that's where I am now. I got another 7 seconds of footage done tonight towards the finishing of this scene, which includes the first flashback that I will be starting this week. That should be interesting to see with all of the flashbackish effects added to it - motion blur, soft focus, sepia, all that good stuff. I still have to get the set built for that one, which will basically include adding on to the set I'm currently working with, mainly getting a T-intersection road baseplate hooked in and all that. Coincidentally, the car I originally built for my Back to the Future montage clip (that I haven't filmed yet...) will work very well for this scene, so I'll use that instead of having to build a whole new car, which would be sort of dumb anyway.

I should be able to get the whole flashback and surrounding shots done within the week; some relatives will be visiting, however, so that may slow it down a little bit. Otherwise, all is well in Smokerland.

PROJECTED LENGTH: 18:00-20:00
LENGTH FILMED: 3:43
PERCENTAGE OF PROJECTED LENGTH FILMED: 19%
